PARLIAMENT OF MALAYSIA, 28 September – The Deputy President of the Senate (TYPDN), Honorable Senator Datuk Seri Abdul Halim Abd. Samad received a courtesy call from the Delegation of Bangladesh of 30 people with accompanying officers from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) starting at 9 am today.

The Delegation of Bangladesh that comprises of administration officers from public sector who are attending the "Training of Officers of 96th-97th Law and Administration Course" under University Community Transformation Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
The purpose of the courtesy call is to understand the roles of Parliament in the fields of law and administration in Malaysia, in addition to increase the understanding of the socio-culture and political-economic environment that are being practiced in the country.
The agenda of the courtesy call began with a meeting with the Deputy President of the Senate (TYPDN), Honorable Senator Datuk Seri Abdul Halim Abd. Samad at Courtesy Room.
Some of the Delegation of Bangladesh is being briefed on the Parliament of Malaysia at Briefing Room.
They were then taken to the Briefing Room to be given a briefing on the Parliament of Malaysia by the Head of Management Division, Datuk Zamani Sulaiman.
The delegation was served with light refreshments together with the Deputy Speaker of the Senate. At the end of the visit, the delegation visited the House of the Parliament of Malaysia.
