Tuesday, 10 September 2013- A work trip to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur (UTM) Jalan Semarak was held to look at the concept of Wi-Fi campus of the University.
The visit was led by Dato’ Lamien Sawiyo (Chief Administrator) and Datuk Zamani Sulaiman (The Secretary of The Senate), representing the JPICT at the higher management level, Parliament of Malaysia. It was also attended by the staff of Information Technology Section.
The objective of the visit was to see at the operation and management of the campus’ Wi-Fi for the entire network at the University. It was also to provide an overview of the current concept and technology of wireless.
They also had the opportunity to visit campus halls that have been implemented with the wireless technology. The visit ended at around 1.30pm.
