Friday, September 20, 2013 - Pre-Parliamentary Coordination Meeting for the Senate was held starting at 9 am at Banquet Hall, Parliament of Malaysia. The meeting was chaired by Datuk Zamani Sulaiman, Secretary of the Senate.
This meeting was in preparation for the Senate Meeting which will be held from 7-10 October 2013. About 100 officers from ministries and agencies were present at the meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to coordinate the tabling of the bill and questions by Members of The Senate.
Agenda of the meeting started with welcoming address from the Chairman of the Meeting, Datuk Zamani Sulaiman. Next is the presentation of the bill, discussion on the draft of Order Paper of the Senate and concluded with feedback from the representatives of the ministry. The meeting ended at about 1pm.
