PARLIAMENT OF MALAYSIA, 11 December – Hon. Senator Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato` Seri Dr Ibrahim Shah bin Abu Shah, the Chairman of Malaysia UMNO Education Bureau, today led a swearing-in ceremony for three senators at the Senate, Parliament of Malaysia.
The swearing-in ceremony was then proceeded with new appointment of Hon. Senator Dr. Nuing Jeluing selected by the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) and Hon. Senator Datuk Lim Pay Hen from the Johor State Legislative Assembly (DUN).
Hon. Senator Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato` Seri Dr. Ibrahim Shah bin Abu Shah swearing in for his second term as a Member of the Senate.
Hon. Senator Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato` Seri Dr. Ibrahim Shah bin Abu Shah once again appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong as a Senator for his second term for the duration of three years commencing from 11 December 2017 until 10 December 2020.
He has been active in politics since 2006, holding the position of Committee Member of the UMNO Information Bureau and was subsequently elected as Member of the UMNO Supreme Council Working Committee in 2013 to date.

Hon. Senator Dr. Nuing Jeluing, 65 was appointed as a Senator replacing Datuk Lihan Jok for his first term commencing from 11 December 2017 to 10 December 2020.
