PARLIAMENT OF MALAYSIA: 19 July 2021 (MONDAY) — Four have sworn in as Senators before His Excellency Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Utama Dr. Rais Yatim, the President of the Senate and witnessed by Mr. Sujairi bin Abdullah, the Secretary of the Senate.

Among the Senators who were sworn-in are Hon. Senator Datuk Dr. Mohd Radzi bin Md Jidin, 44, who is also the Senior Minister of Education, Hon. Senator Datuk John Ambrose, 69, who is the UMNO Penampang Chief Division, Hon. Senator Datuk Teo Eng Tee @ Teo Kok Chee, 74, the Vice President of Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia Party (GERAKAN) and Hon. Senator Datuk Bobbey Ahfang Bin Suan, 57, who is a former State Legislative Assembly member for N.38 Nabawan.

Three of the sworn-in Senators are reappointments, while Hon. Senator Datuk Bobbey Ahfang Bin Suan is a new appointment made by the Sabah State Legislative Assembly, effective 5 January 2021 to 4 January 2024 – CORPORATE COMMUNICATION DIVISION, PARLIAMENT OF MALAYSIA
