In addition, there were two officers from the Iranian Embassy also joined the visit. During the visit, officials from the Corporate Communications Unit took  the delegates on tour around the Parliament building, including The Houses and former House of The Senate.

Later, the delegation also took the time to meet with Datuk Zamani Sulaiman, Secretary of the Senate. During that meeting, a briefing was conducted by Secretary of the Senate. Among the issues discussed were those relate to Parliament of Malaysia such as functions of the Parliament, procedure and proceedings of The Senate and House of Representatives. A brief question and answer session was also held.
