H.E. Dato’ Mohamad Ariff bin Md Yusof, Speaker of the House of Representatives officiated the
10^th AIPA Caucus Meeting

PARLIAMENT OF MALAYSIA, 17 June – H.E. Dato’ Mohamad Ariff bin Md Yusof, Speaker of the House of Representatives officiated the 10^th ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Caucus Meeting taking place at Banquet Hall, Parliament of Malaysia.  

The two-day meeting was attended by all ASEAN countries except Indonesia. As the organizer for this meeting, Parliament of Malaysia has sent 15 Members of Parliament (MPs) consisting of :-

• Hon. Dato' Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, MP for Santubong (Chairman of the 10^th AIPA Caucus Meeting)

• Hon. Tuan Charles Anthony Santiago, MP for Klang (Head of Delegation)

• Hon. Dato' Sri Reezal Merican bin Naina Merican, MP for Kepala Batas   

• Hon. Tuan Wong Chen, MP for Subang   

• Hon. Puan Kasthuriraani A/P Patto, MP for Batu Kawan   

• Hon. Tuan Haji Akmal Nasrullah bin Mohd Nasir, MP for Johor Bahru  

• Hon. Datin Mastura binti Mohd Yazid, MP for Kuala Kangsar   

• Hon. Tuan Haji Awang bin Hashim, MP for Pendang

In general, AIPA Caucus is a mechanism for discussing, developing and harmonizing laws among ASEAN countries. In addition, this meeting was also one of the platforms for  ASEAN Parliamentarians  to interact and discuss the extent of the resolutions passed by the AIPA Annual General Meeting.
