Hon Senator Tuan Zaiedi bin Haji Suhaili taking oath of office

PARLIAMENT OF MALAYSIA, 22 JULY – Hon. Senator Tuan Zaiedi bin Haji Suhaili has sworn in as a Senator before the President of the Senate, H.E. Senator Tan Sri Dato’ Sri SA. Vigneswaran and witnessed by Hon. Senator Datuk Seri Haji Abdul Halim bin Abd. Samad, Deputy President of the Senate.

Hon. Senator Tuan Zaiedi bin Haji Suhaili is appointed by the State Legislative Assembly of Sarawak. His term of appointment as a Senator takes effect from 22 July 2019 to 21 July 2022.

He is active in social activities and among the positions he holds are as follows:

• 1990 – 1992 : Secretary General, Sarawak Bumiputera Contractor and Supplier (PARBUMIS)

• 1992 – 1995 : Vice President of PARBUMIS

• 1991 – 1996 : PBB Youth Chief for N.5 Tupong

• 1988 – 1991 : PBB Youth Movement Committee Member for N.6 Satok

• 2017 : Advisor to Malay Contractors’ Association, Sarawak Branch
