Hon. Cik Vivian Wong Shir Yee, Sandakan MP sworn in as a Member of the
House of Representatives

Kuala Lumpur, 1 July - Hon. Cik Vivian Wong Shir Yee has sworn in as a Member of the House of Representatives before the Speaker of the House of Representatives, H.E. Dato’ Mohamad Ariff bin Md Yusof in the House of Representatives, Parliament of Malaysia.
 

On 11  May, Hon. Cik Vivian Wong Shir Yee has won the Sandakan Parliamentary by-election with 11,521 majority after  defeating Datuk Linda Tsen Thau from Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), and three  independent candidates with 16,012 votes.
 

Sandakan Parliamentary by-election was held following the death of the incumbent, the late Hon Datuk Stephen Wong Tien Fatt who  was also the Sabah DAP Chairman due to heart attack on 28 March.
