Kuala Lumpur, 19 October – Parliament Malaysia in collaboration with the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) and British High Commissioner has hosted WFD: MP's Advocacy Programme and a Closed-Door Discussion: Malaysian Parliamentary Reform - The Way Forward.

The welcoming remarks has been given by H.E. Dato’ Mohamad Ariff bin Md Yusof, Speaker of the House of Representatives, followed by a short speech by Her Excellency Vicky Treadell, British High Commissioner to Malaysia and Sir Hugh Bayley from the Westminster Foundation of Democracy.

The two-days programme was also attended by Hon. Dato’ Haji Mohd Rashid bin Hasnon, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Datuk Awang Alik bin Jeman, Chief Administrator of Parliament, Datuk Roosme binti Hamzah, Secretary of the House of Representatives, Mr. Riduan Rahmat, Secretary of the Senate and members of the Senate and House of Representatives.
