Parlimen adalah badan perundangan tertinggi di negara, merangkumi Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Dewan Negara dan Dewan Rakyat. Fungsi utama Parlimen ialah meluluskan undang-undang negara. Tempoh sesebuah Parlimen adalah tidak lebih lima tahun.
