Friday, 19 June 2015 - Monthly Assembly for June 2015 was held in Briefing Room, Temporary Block at 9.00 am. Also present were Tuan Awang Alik, Chief Administrator of Parliament of Malaysia, Datuk Roosme Hamzah, Secretary to the House of Representatives and En. Riduan Rahmat, Secretary of the Senate.
Secretary for the House of Representatives and the Senate were also present during the assembly.
The assembly was jointly organized by the Corporate Communication Division, International Relations and Protocol Division and Legal Adviser’s Office.
The assembly began with the latest news which takes place during the month of May and June in Parliament of Malaysia, which includes presentation of administration and utility report for the month of May 2015 and the report on courses attended by officers and staff.

Chief Administrator of Parliament of Malaysian, En. Awang Alik Jeman, also delivered a mandate during the assembly. He reminded those present that every Parliament staff are to carry a clean image at all times since it will indirectly affect the Parliament of Malaysia as a legislative institution.
Besides that, the Chief Administrator of Parliament of Malaysia also shared some important points which was imparted by Hon. Dato 'Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia during the Fourteenth Civil Service Primier Gathering (MAPPA XIV) at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) the day before. Among the important point highlighted is that the civil servants must equip themselves with the skills and the latest technology that will help them to improve their daily routine and seek to find a more effective method for carrying out their respective duties.

The assembly ended with presentation of kit to newly appointed officers to the Parliament and ended at about 9.45 am.
