The Swearing-in Ceremony of the Members of Parliament of the 14th Parliament was held at August House of Parliament of Malaysia. All 220 Members of the House of Representatives sworn in as the members of Parliament and 98 of them are new members. The swearing-in ceremony was held 69 days after the 14th General Election (GE14) on 9 May.  During the ceremony, His Excellency Dato’ Mohamad Ariff bin Md Yusof was appointed as the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
