The Opening Ceremony of the First Session of the Fourteenth Parliament of Malaysia was officiated by His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V. Also present at the ceremony, the Prime Minister, Hon. Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and Deputy Prime Minister, Hon. Dato' Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
